The Youth are divided in two groups: Middle School and High School. Each week we have a different focus for our spiritual walk. Regardless of the activity, we open and close our meetings with a worship service from the Book of Common Prayer. Youth who are confirmed may serve as LEM’s and Lectors during the worship services. The Youth Music Program began in December and we meet bimonthly to learn about music and worship, how to lead worship with music, how music can be used to express your faith and prayer, and what it means to share your gifts and be a servant at the same time. This worship time is open to all interested youth who can provide their own equipment. Education: Sunday School is offered to all youth from 9:15-10:15 am. We are using the Wired Word program, which is a current events based program. Also, Confirmation classes are offered for 7th graders and above. Training: All Youth who work with our children are Safeguarding God’s Children trained. |
