Children’s Ministry
+Children’s Cross Choir: A new semester is starting for Children’s Cross Choir. If your child is in Pre-K through Fifth Grade and would like to be a part of this group that sings once a month for the 10:30 am Worship Service, please email Ashley or Click here to let her know. Ms. Brenda S. and Mrs. Trish will practice with these children twice a month immediately following the 10:30 am Worship Service. The children will learn to sing traditional and contemporary worship songs, to play musical instruments and to have a fun time with friends. The cost of this spring semester is $15 per child and this includes lunch through May and a special pin that they will be presented with at the end of the semester. Looking forward to seeing many of you there on Sunday.
+Bible Bowl Coming Soon: Children Pre-K through Fourth will have a Bible Bowl on Sunday, March 6th during the Sunday School hour to enjoy a friendly group competition. Study Guides will be passed out in Sunday School on February 20th and available on the website on February 22nd. These are always so much fun!
Middle School Youth Ministry

College Ministry
+We are looking forward to beginning our college ministry to Lone Star–Cy Fair. Please begin to pray for our endeavor. More details will follow in the coming weeks!
Young Adult Ministry
+Dinner at the Coen’s House: Mark your calendars now for our monthly dinner on Friday, February 25th. We will have dinner and fellowship from 6-8pm. Free childcare is available at the church in Classroom 1 from 6-8pm.

Adult Ministry
+A Creative Circle of Women: Ladies, are you looking for some downtime to finish that scarf or scrapbook? Please join us on Tuesday, February 22 at 7 pm for a fun, new fellowship opportunity! A Creative Circle of Women will meet for crafting and treats at the home of Lindsay Balez. Please bring your own project to work on or just to visit and be inspired! +A Moms Bible Study: A new Bible Study for moms will start Wednesday, March 2nd from 10-11 AM in Classroom 2 at Saint Aidan’s. We will read one chapter per week. Childcare will be provided in the nursery, if needed. “Mission of Motherhood, Touching Your Child’s Heart for Eternity” by Sally Clarkson has received rave reviews and can be purchased online at Amazon for under $5.00. Senior’s Ministry
+Senior’s Ministry Meeting: After the deep freeze and the ice and the closings, we are ready to try it again.
Lets plan on meeting at the church, Saturday morning, 10 am for a light breakfast snack and plan how we are going to get organized into this wonderful opportunity. This will all happen on March 5. Put it on your calendar, write it on the bathroom mirror, tape it to your cars dash board. I would appreciate a RSVP whether you can attend or not. Wellness: Pastoral Care and Service
+CAM Food Drive: For the next four weeks please bring canned food, cereal, paper products, and diapers for CAM to help replenish their shelves after the holidays. Thank you!
All Church Events (ACE)
+Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: On Tuesday, March 8th we will have our annual pancake supper at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5 for youth and adults and $3 for children, no more than $15 per family.
Worship
+Ash Wednesday Worship Services: We will have two Ash Wednesday Worship services at 6am and 7pm. Make plans to attend.
+Flowers for 2011: The Flower Chart for 2011 is up. Please sign up to be the sponsor of the flowers for different Sundays throughout the year. This year, there are two opportunities for every Sunday. Each bouquet costs $25. You can sign up for one on that Sunday or for both. One bouquet would be $25 and two would be $50. We hope this will give people more options and opportunities to honor someone with flowers or to remember someone with flowers. |
