The people are the ministers. The church belongs to them and they are called to lead, serve and participate as Christ’s disciples not only in the church but through the church lead, serve and participate in the community.

The Staff

The Rev. Justin Lindstrom ~ Priest
Rev. JustinThe Reverend Justin Alan Lindstrom is the Founding Vicar of Saint Aidan’s Episcopal Church.  In August of 2002, the Bishop of the Diocese of Texas called Justin to plant a new church in this rapidly growing area of Northwest Houston.  Father Justin is a dynamic communicator, effective teacher, and a caring leader. Saint Aidan’s Episcopal Church is a member of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce and was named the Chamber’s 2004 Business/Organization of the Year.  Father Justin is the co-chair of the Chamber’s Education Committee.  Father Justin is also a member of the Cy-Fair Rotary Club and is serving as the Treasurer, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Board of Trustees and Executive Board, the Cy-Fair Independent School District Bond Steering Committee, and on the Chairman of the Board of the Langham Creek YMCA.  He serves as the Langham Creek YMCA volunteer Chaplain and was named the 2007 Volunteer of the Year.  Father Justin is also a Search Institute 40 Developmental Assets trained trainer.  He also serves on the Leadership North Houston Alumni Board of Directors.  Father Justin co-authored The Journey.  This is a curriculum for youth and those who work with youth to facilitate the process of how youth and adults can be there for each other in all aspects of their life and ministry.  He has been the project leader as main author, editor, and trainer since 2001.Father Justin is also the co-founder and co-author of Faith Family Focus.  F3 seeks to revitalize churches, ministries of the church, as well as, families and individuals of the community through workshops and retreats.  F3 trains people in a concept of core values and action areas through a dynamic framework and process that looks at hopes and dreams, finances, and goals.  Justin grew up in California and was a competitive swimmer.   Justin moved to Texas and attended Texas Lutheran University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and History and with a Texas Teaching Certification in Secondary Education.  Justin earned his Master of Divinity in May of 1999 from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin.  Justin was ordained a Deacon in August of 1999 and a Priest in August of 2000.   Prior to St. Aidan’s, Justin has served as a Youth Minister, lay and ordained, for over 12 years while serving four congregations throughout Texas.  Justin married Susan Alison Hiebert in June of 1996.  They have a son, John Covell, and a daughter, Ashleigh Cooper.  The Lindstrom family lives in Stonegate.

The Rev. Rich Houser ~ Youth and Young Adult Minister

Rev. HouserTHE REVEREND RICH HOUSER is the Associate Priest in charge of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. In May of 2009, the Bishop of the Diocese of Texas called Rich to St. Aidan’s.   Father Rich is an energetic communicator, effective teacher, and a caring minister.   

Rich Houser graduated from the University of the South, School of Theology receiving a Master of Divinity in May of 2009. Rich served as the treasurer of the Missions Committee, organizer of the seminary’s worship schedule, and member of the seminary’s food services committee. While in seminary, Rich received the 2009 John Gessell Fellowship for Social Ethics, and the Bishop Leo Alard Award for Spanish Liturgical Reading. During his time at seminary, Rich visited South Africa on a cross-cultural study and co-produced U2charist for the college community at the University of the South. Rich has been trained in the Kaleidoscope Institute Training and the Gamalilel Leadership Training.   Father Rich has produced two short documentaries, “2008 Mission to South Africa” and “Theology of the Homeless.”

Before seminary Father Rich served two congregations as Youth Minister at Grace Episcopal Church, Alvin and St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, Lufkin. 

Rich grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. Rich attended Texas A&M University, College Station, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Business. Rich was ordained in June of 2009.

Rich married Patricia Muras in October of 2006. Patricia is a college counselor at Episcopal High School in Houston.
